With the Greater London Mayor and Assembly elections less than a week away, we
are holding our ‘hustings’ meeting on Sunday evening at 7pm at the Arcola
Theatre, Ashwin Street. We have the four leading candidates for the North East
London constituency who will be answering questions from local
residents.
Next Tuesday mornging we will be distributing HOPE not hate leaflets at tube and rail stations across the borough getting the message out to Hackney people: you need to vote if you want to keep the BNP from getting a seat in City Hall (they need just 5% of votes cast to win a seat).
Time to reflect
It has been a hectic time recently with a lot of activity (and 40,000 newspapers delivered across the borough) so on 9 May we are planning a less formal open meeting for our supporters. This will be an opportunity to reflect on recent successes, and to explore new initiatives. Perhaps most important it will be an opportunity to get to ‘meet and greet’ new supporters who have helped out in our campaigns.
If you are planning to attend any of the above events, please help us by completing a short on-line survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PNRRSB2
